Zareen's is so good! We love coming for the large portions, friendly staff, and neat indoor/outdoor vibe especially on a warm Redwood City day. On this trip, we decided to share the chicken boti sizzler platter, the paneer tiki masala thali, garlic naan, masala fries, and a mango lassi. It was admittedly too much for two but more for us later! I really enjoyed having a little bit of everything together especially with the green sauce. It gave each bite a little spice which was perfect with the more creamy and rich tiki masala sauce. The chicken on the sizzling platter was also really tender and the sweet onions accompanying it was just chef's kiss! A mango lassi on a warm night was also a real delight as it was creamy and rich. I kind of wished there was a little cardamom on it, which is my favorite way to have lassi, but it was still good as is. Our meal came in just under $60 with tip.

Great place. We will be back. I love naan and I love wraps, so I was delighted to see naan wraps on their menu. Surprisingly large dining room with outdoor seating along Broadway. Naan wrap with chicken boti: 4.5/5. The chicken had great flavor and it was wrapped in a perfectly-cook naan. Yum. Naan wrap with veggie samosa: 4/5. Pretty good, but not as good as the chicken.

Food (2/2): Had just the simple chicken tikka masala. Incredible. Not much other comment. It was spicy, it was tasty, and incredibly well cooked. Service/wait-time/cleanliness (1/2): Service from the restaurant was great, given the constantly-filled-up space they have. However, because of this, issue of wait-time and cleanliness becomes part of the issue, though granted, they're keeping it pretty clean for the constant business they're experiencing. The seating arrangement however, also causes a lot of undesired effects of people becoming over-aggressive in taking over spaces and occasionally not respecting other people's boundaries. Price (1/1): For the quality of food and price, amazing and would definitely come back.

I've been to this location several times, as well as the Zareen's in Palo Alto a handful of times. The most recent time here I got the chicken tikka masala (thali). Portions felt smaller than my previous visits for both locations. The chicken tikka masala was also only slightly warm - we would've enjoyed it more if it were warmer. Other than that, still very solid food here with great flavor and love the nice charred taste on the chicken. Employees are all very friendly. Food also came out super quickly. Outdoor seating is a vibe if it's not too cold out.

We tried Zareens for the first time. We noticed the weekends are very busy so we came on a Wednesday evening. They have a detailed menu as well as a menu with pictures of dishes. The manager noticed it was our first time and guided us through the menu and made recommendations. He also mentioned you can order according to your spice preference. We loved all our dishes. The food came out really quickly and was delicious. Seating inside and out front on the patio/street. Located downtown Redwood City.

During my most recent visit here, I decided to try the beef chapli burger which was decent. It's basically a regular burger with Indian seasoning which was pretty good, but the patty was a tad dry. I really liked the green and red chutneys that came with it though. I came on a Friday for dinner so it was quite busy, but the service was still top notch. There are a few tables inside and lots of outdoor seating under tents. Our server allowed someone in our party to change and add-on to their order after we had already paid which was very kind of them. This place has delicious Indian and Pakistani food, but I will note that sometimes I felt like they didn't give enough. For example, their chicken tikka masala is excellent but the amount of chicken I've received before was simply not worth the price in my opinion. Nonetheless, the food is high quality and full of flavor so I recommend giving it a try.

We ordered the chicken tikka masala thali and chicken samosas. Both dishes were delicious, the tikka masala was the perfect amount of spice. We replaced the rice with a garlic naan for an extra dollar. I really like how they have the option to replace the rice with naan, it's no extra charge if you want regular naan. I actually think the garlic naan wasn't too flavorful, didn't taste the garlic at all so I might stick with the regular naan next time. The chicken samosas were SO good. There's a bit of dry spice seasoning that's sprinkled on top and that was so good, had a bit of a kick and just made the whole samosa so delicious. I would definitely come again, I really want to try the burrito or sandwich next time. I saw some other tables get them, and they also look delicious. The service was good, you order at the counter and they give you a number and you find a table. They deliver the food to your table. The cashier was so nice, he asked if it was our first time and he gave us a complimentary chai. I will definitely go back and get the chai next time. There is quite a bit of seats but at the time we were there (lunch on Sunday) it filled up quick. There was a family of 3 that took up 10 seats, sitting at every other seat with 3 tables. There was another group of 3 looking for seats, I did wish that the restaurant helped talk to the family that took up 10 seats so the other family was able to sit.

Had one of the best restaurant experience here tonight! I came here on Saturday night around 9pm and it was still really busy. But the staff was so accommodating and sweet and tried to make sure we have the best dining experience. The chicken masala hear is never a a doubt so solid! And the garlic naan and samosas are also good picks for this place! Recommend this place!!! 10/10

The efficiency at Zareen's is honestly amazing, even when the line is out the door you truly don't need to worry that there won't be any sitting because once you order there's a high change that there will be tables for you to sit at and choose from. My friend and I went on a Saturday evening, and waited about 5 minutes in the line before getting to the front to order our food. The cashiers were super patient in providing suggestions and after they shared their recommendations I decided to go with the Chicken Tikka Masala Thali, garlic naan and chai. My friend went with the Lamb Gosht Thali, a side of rice and mango lassi. We found a seat immediately after ordering and noticed that our table was rather wobbly, we had asked one of the employees to assist and he was super nice and helped to quickly stabilize the table. We waited about 10 minutes before the food arrived. Both our meals were super delicious, the flavors really hit the spot. I really enjoyed the mixed greens and chopped pickled salad side dishes. The drinks were 10/10, the mango lassi had the perfect thick consistency and the chai was really aromatic and tasty, can't believe it's only $1! Overall Zareen's is a great place for a casual and delicious meal, it's great for small to large groups and kids. Highly recommend trying it out if you're in the area!

I love Zareens! It's not your typical Indian restaurant. They have a fast casual feel with tons of seating, just make sure you order first. The food comes out really quickly, and the staff there are always so nice. There's a water fountain on the side, along with plates, utensils and a mini fridge with mint and tamarind chutneys, as well as a chili oil, to self serve. They have outdoor seating, so very pet friendly. Bring your friends and order family style to share! The portions are plentiful and the food is just sooooo delicious. These are our must haves for a table of 4: Chicken Boti Sizzler Chapli Sizzler Chicken Tikka Masala Madras Chicken Potato Samosas Basmati Rice Garlic Naan NGL, we over ordered and over ate and even then, still had left overs! You can not go wrong with any of the items above. The curries don't come with rice, so make sure you get some as a side. The naans are big af, the size of a small pizza! Nice and fluffy along the edges and thinner/crisper towards the middle. I wouldn't say the chicken tikka masala is my fav as it can be hit or miss but my last visit was pretty bomb. If you like your curry a little less creamy, go with the madras chicken. FYI the samosa is a little bit spicy, but everything else is more on the mild side. If you aren't familiar with Indian food, this is a great spot to ease your way in! This is one of our favorite spots to bring family/friends!
